TobIque Officially in Third Party Management

Officials from INAC met with chief and council yesterday Aug 07 to give
them a briefing on the dire financial situation here concerning the Maliseet
Nation @ Tobique. Basically the reason for third party according councilor
David Perley in a telephone converstion "is to protect our accounts from
businesses and people looking for money"

It is in the bands best interest to enter into third party that way the
Tobique accounts will be protected when lawsuits flare up from TEDCO
borrowing money off of public funds.
